Information Reception and Dissemination:
You will assess received information regarding the intelligence system and ensure dissemination to relevant parties. This will be done in line with stringent policies of confidentiality, sensitivity, and duty of care, as well as relevant legislation to ensure proper processing of intelligence.
Research and Evaluation:
You will collect, research, and information in line with an agreed collection plan. This will include any possible gaps or trends that could be important for the organization missions.
Preparation and Delivery of Intelligence Products:
Your role will also involve in making new products or technology that provide clear, and actionable ideas. You will help in decision-making and advise on tactical options based on your findings.
Networking and Partnerships:
Building and maintaining networks with inside and outside partners at all levels of rank will be key. This will ensure timely and exact information sharing in support of collaborative objectives, while supporting a help ful work environment.
To be considered for the Intelligence Officer position, the following educational background and work experience are required:
Minimum Qualification: Graduation from an authorized institution.
Training Programs: You should be willing to undertake training programs such as “Introduction to Intelligence” and “Introduction to Research” to enhance your skills.
Research Skills: You must have prior experience researching information from diverse sources to collect relevant intelligence.
Data Handling Experience: Experience working with data on various computerized systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
Reporting and Presentation Skills: you should know how to write clear reports and explain things in different ways like talking or writing so everyone can understand. This helps make sure the right people get the right info without confusion
